30 Days Wild - Days 21 & 22

The challenge is a random act of wildness every day for 30 days ... It is not always easy. Day 21, and my son is playing in a tennis competition, which gives us free entry to the ladies' Nature Valley tournament at Edgbaston. It is a dream day for him, and there are worse ways to spend a summer's evening than watching Heather Watson play doubles in the balmy dusk. I note the slant of sunlight through the trees ....

Day 22, and we are getting ready to go on holiday .... I spend a lot of time in the garden hanging out washing. My least favourite part of going on holiday is getting ready to go, getting everything and everyone organised, including the guinea pig who has to be transported to his holiday lodging at our friend's house. She has a lovely garden. I do enjoy the sunshine, the clear skies, the flowers, the birdsong, even on this busy day. Once we are underway, I feel a great relief ...

And many acts of wildness await us this coming week, with plenty of sunshine in the forecast ...
